The Essence of Life

IN ESSENCE YOU ARE FOREVER! You are not actually your body, you are just operating it whilst you are here. In reality you are Divine. Your true nature is ‘Conscious Awareness’. Your name, your body, (who you think you are) is merely a tiny fragment of that Divine Essence expressed in physical form.

Eckhart Tolle wrote: “In you, as in each human being, there is a dimension of consciousness far deeper than thought. It is the Very Essence of who you are. We may call it presence, awareness, the unconditioned consciousness. Whatever we call it, it is our true nature.”

In ‘Endless Light and Love – My Spiritual Journey’ it wonderfully explains this omnipresent, pure energy that pervades everything everywhere:- “This Divine Essence embodies the universe and yet it exists beyond all space and time. It is infinitely ancient because it is eternal. In comparison to this, the universe’s age of fourteen billion years is nothing.

Human beings have made many inadequate attempts to describe this essence. Some may call it God or Soul, others may prefer a term like Tao, which means ‘The Way’ for the simple reason that this essence is the way of existence, the way or reality.

“The Essence of life is God’s Presence within us all,therefore everyone you meet is God visiting you in physical form.” 

Our highest hopes and dreams, ideals and aspirations all come from its power to express itself. We manage to catch a glimpse of it when we exchange smiles with one another, we can feel it when one hand reaches out to touch another. It is what we are at the most essential level.

This essence is no more, no less than the energy of love in its purest form. It is our truest nature. Human beings are simply the solidified manifestation of this energy.

That is why it is so important to you, and why you can never be without it. Embrace the Essence, for it is the reason for existence itself, and the reason why you exist at all.”...
