Social Mania

BE AWARE! OVERINFLATED EGOS RUN GOVERNMENTS, preach sermons, direct corporations, counsel neurotics, practice law, command armies, control education, establish charities, promote entertainment. We are governed, our minds moulded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by people we have never met or even heard of.

It's an interesting fact: Society causes more injustices, more discomfort, and more unhappiness is projected at others under the name of righteousness, under the name of law, and under the name of religion, than all other things put together.

This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. We are promised a reward if we follow and threatened with punishment if we don’t follow society’s laws, rules and regulations – and this creates slaves of us all, slaves who will revolt at the first opportunity.

Society is slavery in action. People complain, "How can I make sense of human events, of unfair taxes, of greedy, uncaring, self serving governments and big business, of radical religious doctrine?" You simply cannot. The actions of lunatics in an insane asylum never make sense.

Society is a mad-house occupied by frenzied maniacs who think they are sane – and they are in charge of our lives! A belief that others must live and act as society stipulates, that they must be controlled and be moulded into law abiding citizens, so that we can feel good and safe, leaves us vulnerable to their behaviour.

Becoming consciously aware of the restrictive hold that society has over us will aid us in our attempts to better understand ourselves and discover the truth about Who We Really Are and why we are here. At the moment, our unconscious mind is impeding our progress towards that aim.

With conscious awareness you can see through sick society, which means you are not part of it, which means you are sane. And now your life can make perfect sense...
