HERE’S SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT. What if we really are Eternal Spiritual Beings experiencing what it’s like to be finite physical beings? What if we have lived countless lives in human form, made up of a multitude of different races, colours, creeds and ethnicities... if so, then how can we possibly be racist?
How can we dislike/hate/ostracize/condemn another person because of their colour, their religion, or just for being who they are when in truth we may have previously experienced a lifetime in their shoes... or maybe a life experience equivalent to the person that we are presently vilifying is still to come?
To complain about human beings that are different than us is rather self centred, conceited and arrogant, for if we really are Eternal Spiritual Beings, it would be imperative that we become consciously aware and remember that in essence we are All One, sharing the same diverse multi-life, multi-cultural experiences.
The scary thing is that the more we ostracize people just because they don’t do, act, believe or look as we would like them to, we risk living (or reliving) a life ‘as one of them’ in one or more of our upcoming lifetimes, depending whether we learned the inherent lesson or not.
Why is that so? Because of what is commonly called Karma or Cause and Effect, which means that in a future life experience, the bully will be bullied, the murderer murdered, the rapist raped, and the racist and white supremacist will in a future life, experience a life as one of the ones that they are presently reviling.
To be uncaring, hostile, angry or bitter towards another human being means simply that we still have a hell of a lot to learn and alas, countless lifetimes ahead to learn it in. Wouldn’t it be a whole lot smarter to Grow Up, Wake Up and learn that we are All One right now?
If the purpose of our existence is to experience physical life as a human being, then the ultimate purpose must be for us to advance to higher levels of compassion, unconditional love and understanding for all life, including all human beings, no matter who they are. The question is how many lifetimes will that take?..
