All The Same

WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE the world change for the better but there’s a problem. We believe that it’s not our responsibility to fix it. We blame others for the violence in the world, not us. Each of us believes that we are decent human beings, while it is the evil ones that are causing the upheavals in the world.
We freely admit that the cause of violence in the world is violent people, but everyone, including yourself thinks that they are the exception to the rule. Be honest, do you ever get annoyed, cross, frustrated, irritated or angry with someone or the world at times? Of course you do. We all do.
All of that aggravation that unconsciously churns away within us when we are upset is violence in action. These negative feelings are sneakily hidden behind the facade of a loving, gentle human being that we show to the world... but when something goes wrong, something unexpected or upsetting... what happens?
With a little bit of honest self observation you can if you are brave and honest enough, admit to the fact that you are just the same as those ‘evil people’ in the world. For the world you see is but a reflection of what’s inside of you.
Only by honestly facing the fact that we are just as violent as the ‘evil ones’ can we find the cure for man’s violent nature. Only by becoming consciously aware that all of us are wrong can we create the opportunity to make all of us, and the world we live in right.
If we can accept the responsibility for the fact that we are no better than anyone else, without any self recrimination, but simply by becoming aware of the fact, then the world out there has a fairly good chance of changing for the better...

____________
a choice and for now we have chosen the fate we live.”
