WE’RE ALIKE, YOU AND I... fragile and yet at the same time strong. We come in many different colours, shapes and sizes, making each of us unique and special in our own way. We’re all the same and yet we’re different. So how can any of us point the finger at another person because they are not like ourselves?
When we realize that we’re only human, that we lack the expertise to fully understand what life’s about and why we are here, we might then be able to give ourselves some slack and have more compassion and empathy for our fellow humans, and not be too critical of the mistakes we are making along the way.
We’re all stumbling blindly through life trying to figure this shit out. Whatever sort of life we’re experiencing, it’s simply one state of being, a learning process on the path to perfecting our humanity.
“Besides all the confusion and uncertainty of life, we need to realize and appreciate
just how lucky we are to be alive in the first place.”
just how lucky we are to be alive in the first place.”
All of our many and varied life experiences, our struggles, our pains, our good times, our bad times, our loving and hating, our prides and our passions is leading us somewhere, even though it seems impossible at the moment for our immature human brain to figure out... but it will eventually.
The purpose of our existence is to bring the mortal aspect of ourselves (our physical self) into alignment with the immortal aspect of ourselves (our spiritual self), for this region within us is still undeveloped.
With more experience at being human, we’ll bring the blending of our humanness and our soul closer together, earning the right to stand in a new place of understanding, and the closer we will be to realizing our own perfection as a spiritual/physical being.
Our humanness is only a disguise while we are here in earth’s classroom, it’s not who we truly are. Our body and mind is only a cocoon that encases our soul, enabling us to experience a life of positive/negative contrasts so as we can appreciate what we eternally and truly are...
Dan's Quote: "As human beings we are works in progress
____________who mistakenly think we're finished."
____________who mistakenly think we're finished."
