THE READINGS of the philosopher, Edgar Cayce, better known as ‘The Sleeping Prophet’- while in a trance - predicted that we decide on all aspects of our upcoming life before we are born. Reading his philosophy in the 80’s was one of the incentives for me writing this blog – and eventually publishing my book.
The trick was not to believe his readings but to consider their possibilities, for if we believe what someone else believes, no matter who it is, it blocks us from any possibility of remembering what we have temporarily forgotten – the belief simply gets in the way – muddying our cognitive waters so to speak.
I suspected early on that down deep inside us, we may already know the truth - we have just forgotten it. So in reality we are not here to learn lessons so much as to remember what we already know.
Recently I came across another article on this same subject called ‘Do We Plan Our Lives Before We Are Born?’ by Nikkie Gray. Over the next few posts, I would like to present to you my version of what she wrote mixed in with a bit of Edgar Cayce’s philosophy – and a bit of my own.
Once again I must stress that you should not believe what is written, but rather absorb what it might mean. That will help you to remember what you already know down deep inside.
YOU PRE-DETERMINE YOUR LIFE
In Nikkie Gray’s article it is inferred that the cycle of life to death to re-birth all starts with a Pre-Birth Plan. You establish this plan with the help of a council of wise souls, including other souls who have been chosen to play significant roles - acquaintances, antagonists, enemy - or be intimately involved in your life’s journey, loved ones, parents, offspring, teachers etc.
You discuss the life ahead of you and what you need to experience. The wise ones who know their stuff so to speak guide you on the best path to help you master your goals. After your life’s agenda has been put in place, you are born and forget the plan and who you truly are...
